The absence of reliable transportation takes up more time to get to school, work, or leisure activities<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><em><strong>That\u2019s why I am working to make Br\u00f8nsh\u00f8j a central part of future public transport solutions<\/strong><\/em>. A metro line to Br\u00f8nsh\u00f8j should be included in Copenhagen\u2019s upcoming metro plans, giving the neighborhood a fast, green, and direct connection to the rest of the city. This will not only shorten travel times but also reduce car traffic and create new opportunities for urban development and local commerce.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><em><strong>I want to focus on Bus Rapid Transit (BRT)<\/strong> <\/em>\u2014 fast bus lines that run in dedicated lanes with few stops and high frequency. With prioritized lanes and modern electric buses, BRT can offer nearly metro-like service but can be established much faster.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Transport must also be sustainable.<\/strong> <\/em>Therefore, public transport needs to become a real alternative to cars. This requires both frequent departures and reliable schedules. Bicycle parking must also be available at stations so more people can combine cycling with trains or buses.
